Pitru Paksha Amavasya

Pitru Paksha is a sacred event in the Hindu culture when people remember their ancestors and loved ones. It is believed that by offering food and performing the Tarpan, the souls of your departed ancestors and loved ones attain peace. It is also believed the Souls of our ancestors and loved ones come closest to the earth during this time of Pitru Paksh.

Sanatan Mandir has organized Samuhik Tarpan Vidhi in the Matru Pitru Pavilion on Sunday, October 1st, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM

Followed by Aarti and Mahaprasad (Those performing Tarpan Vidhi, please be there by 11:45 AM)
